I’ve been with NGU for nearly 10 years now. We’ve had some issues over the years, but as the go-between with the landlord, they’ve always been sorted eventually.
I had some work done a few years back which meant moving out for a few weeks while the house was rewired. The tradesmen absolutely trashed the place, but Shakil (apologies if I’ve spelt that wrong!) sorted everything and was lovely throughout. It wasn’t his fault, but he dealt with it brilliantly.
Any concerns I’ve had have been dealt with by Rachel. She’s always calm, kind and professional, and gets things sorted. One night I had an issue late on and ended up with three electricians ringing me trying to help. I really can’t fault how quickly they tried to rectify things, especially with me having two disabled children.
More recently I’ve dealt with Amy, who has also been lovely, kind and considerate.
But I have to say we definitely have a favourite member of staff in this house – sorry everyone else – and that’s Matt! He’s done my six-month and yearly reviews for years and genuinely goes above and beyond every single time. He’s just a genuinely nice guy. Any issues, he’ll try to get sorted straight away, and if he doesn’t know the answer, he’ll find out for you. He loves a joke too – “granny carpet” being one of the best in my opinion!
