“You don’t know what you don’t know?” – Maybe it’s a bit too early for Socrates but I didn’t know until recently that councils still offer grants to get empty properties tenanted again.

Newcastle Council are still offering grants of up to £10,000 to bring properties back to the rental market. There are also grants to convert commercial properties to residential as well!

So if you’ve got an empty property, it might be best to give your local council a call and see if there’s any grants available to help you.
