Prevention is Better than the Cure

Do you love the fresh smell of paint in a property and pristine carpets which have never been stepped on?

It does give you a certain amount of pride when you do a new refurb, I know it costs money but it’s nice to think you’ve produced something. You’ve created a nice home for your tenants while also increasing the value of your property.

Personally, I love the feeling of completing a refurb but that’s the warm glowy bit❤

Have you ever been back to a property where those lovely expensive carpets are now covered in dirt. That once nice decor now has kids paint and scuff marks.

I have it’s is bloody annoying and a bit of a kick in the guts. You’ve worked hard, probably late into the evening creating this lovely new house and then it’s wrecked!

Sometimes though as I said prevention is better than the cure. One of the big things about carpets being wrecked is dirt being brought into the house. On all our refurbs we put hard tread matting next to the external doors. This means tenants will wipe their feet before using the rest of the house, getting you more life out of your carpets and helping to save you money in the long run. SAVING YOU MONEY!
