So, how do you make sure your tenants and property are safe?

✔️Ensure smoke alarms are in date! - Chris shows you how to check this in the video and it is vital that if they have expired, they are replaced immediately.

✔️Test smoke alarms regularly. This is not something you want to leave to your tenants. You need to physically attend the property regularly to test these. We would suggest attending 6 monthly but if that is not possible, you must test them at least once per year.

✔️Remember: There must be one smoke alarm on each floor of the property.
