We’re in the xmas season finally and we’re getting closer to a New Year (we need it!). So I thought I’d share with you a few inspirational ideas for your bathrooms.

I know these aren’t your standard buy-to-let refurb but I thought they might get your mind thinking creatively.

In regards to refurbs we generally have three levels of refurbs for our bathrooms, kitchens and carpets depending on the quality of the house and area.

  1. Extra Value
  2. Premier
  3. Designer

We usually recommend not going for the cheapest kitchen / bathroom / carpet, since the difference in cost is usually in the ’00s of pounds, once you factor in the labour and better finish, it’s always better to pay a tiny bit more.

We think this will help you to get that long term wealth and passive income all landlords desire.

Whenever I view a property, I always look at the kitchen and bathroom and so do tenants, they want somewhere nice to live like we all do‼

As a landlord, we’ve found that when we spend a little bit extra you tend to get:

  1. Longer tenancies and so fewer voids
  2. More choice on tenants
  3. Less maintenance issues, since the the property has been done to the right standard from the very start
  4. A higher rent due to the better finish

This means tenants are happy with a well presented nice family home and landlords are happy with the higher income on a longer term basis.
