One of our directors Chris, he just can’t stop talking about developing properties. He loves talking about durable paint, work-tops but his latest thing is carpet

I know it sounds boring but he loves to immerse himself in everything property related. He’s always wanting to get a better product or price and loves understanding the nuts and bolts of everything.

So I asked him to do a quick video on carpets, with a top tip – mainly to stop him talking to me about it

When doing any type of refurb you need to make sure your scope of work includes everything, even what you think is obvious. If you get a carpet fitted, unless you tell the fitter you want to use any off-cuts in the cupboards, they’ll probably not bother. Once you’ve paid, it might be too late!

So just make sure you plan everything!
