There’s one certainty in life and unfortunately that’s death

It’s not something we like to think about and in all honesty, I hope it’s not something that will affect me for many years.

At the moment I have young children and as a result, I decided a few years ago to sort out a will and some life insurance. The main reason for this was just to simplify things in the unfortunate event of my death. All the properties I own would become mortgage-free, making it a lot simpler for my partner to manage my affairs and also to ensure my children were financially looked after. I also did a little bit of estate planning, putting any life insurance pay-out into trust to legitimately mitigate inheritance tax.

We all have different reasons for getting into property, my main ones were I really enjoyed it and also I wanted a better life for myself and my family. So why wouldn’t I do this in the event of death?

I did a video with Gary, to discuss this, I hope you find it interesting 👇
